Homecoming News & Notes: Knockout Returns, Titles Change Hands, More

As noted, Impact Wrestling held their first pay-per-view event of 2019, as they presented Homecoming from the Fairgrounds in Nashville, Tennessee on Sunday evening.

During the show, Impact Wrestling Knockout Rosemary made her return. She appeared after the Kiera Hogan & Jordynne Grace vs. Su Yung & Dark Allie tag-team match to make the save as Yung and Allie continued to attack Hogan after their victory.

Su Yung calls out her bridesmaids with a coffin to bury Hogan once and for all. When the coffin showed up, however, The Demon Assassin Rosemary made her return. Rosemary took out the bridesmaids and then Su Yung. She turned to go after Allie, however she fled the scene.

Also at Homecoming 2019 on Sunday night, Rich Swann won the Ultimate X match to kick off the event, becoming the new Impact Wrestling X-Division Champion, and Taya Valkyrie defeated Tessa Blanchard to capture the Impact Wrestling Knockouts Championship.

Valkyrie defeated Blanchard with her Road To Valhalla finisher after special guest referee Gail Kim blasted Tessa with her own Eat Da Feet finisher for getting in her face one too-many times during the bout.
