Honky Tonk Man Says Jake Roberts Lied About A Guitar Shot Being The Reason For The Start Of His Drug Addiction

On the most recent episode of WWE’s Most Wanted Treasures, WWE Hall of Famer Jake "The Snake" Roberts claimed that a guitar shot to his head in 1987 is what started his drug addiction, but Honky Tonk Man refuted those claims and revealed in a tweet that when he hit other wrestlers with his guitar, it did not cause any sort of drug problems for them.

Honky Tonk Man said:

“HTM Guitar Hits that did not cause Crack Addiction: Macho Man, Brutus Beefcake, Ultimate Warrior, Superfly Snuka, Bret Hart. Crack Cocaine Addiction Hit: Snake Roberts”

WWE Hall of Famer Honky Tonk Man also noted that his guitar was modified and weakened for the blow to be softened, but the guitar was still heavy and it still made a good sound. He also disagreed to Jake Roberts claiming on an episode of Dark Side of the Ring that he was ready to hit The Ultimate Warrior with a roll of quarters during WrestleMania weekend.

Honky Tonk Man also disputed a number of other claims Jake "The Snake" Roberts had against him.
