IMPACT Wrestling announced during this past Thursday night's episode of their flagship show that Sami Callihan, Moose and Steve Maclin will be facing each other in the promotion's first-ever 3-Way Barbed Wire Massacre Match. There have been other Barbed Wire Matches in IMPACT Wrestling, but those matches were Singles Matches with the last Barbed Wire Match taking place at the 2021 Hard To Kill PPV, where Eddie Edwards defeated Sami Callihan.
This will be the fifth Barbed Wire Match in IMPACT Wrestling history, with the match being made after Callihan was attacked by Moose and Maclin outside of the arena and was wrapped with barbed wire. Sami Callihan then made his way down to the ring later in the broadcast and issued the challenge to Maclin and Moose for Victory Road.
IMPACT Wrestling's Victory Road is set to take place on Friday, September 23rd from Skyway Studios in Nashville, Tennessee. The show is set to air live on IMPACT Plus and on YouTube for Ultimate Insiders members.
