Huge Singles Match Made Official For WWE's SummerSlam Premium Live Event

The main event segment of last Monday night's episode of WWE RAW saw newly-signed WWE Star Logan Paul appear as the special guest of The Miz on another must-see episode of MizTV. The Miz would start when he told Logan to think about what he has said to him over the past number of weeks and to retract his statement and join him. Paul then said he wants nothing to do with The Miz and he asked Miz about his WWE SummerSlam challenge, which The Miz initially declined and even called Paul a rookie.

Logan Paul then continued to taunt The Miz and told him that he will be at next week’s SummerSlam go-home episode of WWE RAW from Madison Square Garden in New York City to host his own version of MizTV, which he called Impaulsive TV and he will even show Miz who is better. Miz would still decline Paul's WWE SummerSlam challenge until Logan Paul got the WWE Universe to chant “tiny balls!”. Miz eventually accepted Logan's WWE Summerslam challenge after asking Paul and the WWE fans if they really want this match.

After The Miz accepted Logan Paul's WWE SummerSlam challenge, he tried to attack Paul, but missed and Logan Paul was able to tackle The Miz and clothesline him over the top rope to the floor. Ciampa then made his way into the ring and attacked Paul from behind and as Ciampa was holding Paul, Logan kicked him away and escaped from Ciampa. Logan then retreated to the ramp as Ciampa and The Miz looked on. A furious Miz was then interviewed by Sarah Schreiber about what Logan had to say. The Miz ranted about how no one comes in the WWE and embarrasses him and how WWE is his house because he’s so awesome. RAW would then go off the air with Ciampa and Miz standing together while Paul looked on from the ramp.

It was rumored that the WWE SummerSlam match would feature Ciampa and The Miz vs. Paul and AJ Styles, but it has now been confirmed that The Miz will face Logan Paul in Singles action. The match could be changed to a tag team match anytime from today until WWE SummerSlam, but AJ Styles had no involvement in the storyline this past Monday night on WWE RAW.

The 2022 WWE SummerSlam Premium Live Event will take place on Saturday, July 30 inside Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee.
