Huge Title Match Announced For WWE RAW’s First Anniversary Episode On Netflix On January 5

WWE has announced that World Heavyweight Champion "The Best In The World" CM Punk will defend his title against The Vision's "The Unpredictable Badass" Bron Breakker on the January 5, 2026 episode of Monday Night RAW on Netflix, which will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. This show will mark the first anniversary of RAW on Netflix.

The match announcement came from WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman during a segment on last night's post-WWE Survivor Series: WarGames episode of RAW. During this segment, Breakker delivered a promo, expressing his frustration about how easy it was to pin Punk at Survivor Series: WarGames. He referred to Punk as a “soft ass b***h” and compared him to Seth Rollins.

Breakker continued by saying that Punk tried to injure him during Survivor Series on Saturday. He vowed to ruin Punk's life and career as a consequence. Breakker recalled an encounter with Punk backstage at WrestleMania 41, where Punk congratulated him and challenged him, saying, “Let’s see if you can cut a promo with the big dogs now.” Breakker declared that his promo had been delivered and proclaimed that Punk would be looking up at him as the new champion.

As of now, no other matches have been announced for the show.
