Huge WWE vs. AAA Showdown Set For Next Month’s Event

This past Saturday at the AAA Inmortales XVII event, there was an in-ring segment featuring WWE's El Grande Americano and top AAA star El Hijo Del Vikingo. During this segment, Vikingo delivered a promo in which he addressed the audience chanting for Alberto El Patron, telling them to "get over it." He referred to himself as the Canelo Alvarez of AAA and promised to reclaim the Mega Championship.

Americano then entered the ring and took jabs at Vikingo, pointing out that he shares similarities with Alvarez, noting that both lost in Las Vegas. The two wrestlers exchanged insults, ultimately leading to a brawl that had to be broken up by security, setting the stage for a match at the company’s event next month.

The AAA event is scheduled for Friday, November 28th, in Puebla, Mexico, as part of the company’s Gira Alianzas tour.

Vikingo held the AAA Mega Championship for 104 days during his second title reign, which lasted from May to September. He lost the title to "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, a member of The Judgment Day and WWE Intercontinental Champion, at Worlds Collide. Americano previously competed against Vikingo in a 4-Way Match for the Mega Championship at TripleMania XXXIII, which also included Mysterio and Dragon Lee.
