WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan made his rounds this week promoting his new "Real American Freestyle" amateur wrestling league and incorrectly called AEW star Shelton Benjamin by the wrong name.
Clips of his appearance are embedded below but on both occasions, Hogan named Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle and "Benjamin Shelton" as athletes who got their start in amateur wrestling before gaining success in WWE.

Benjamin responded to Hogan's error by including a gif of the famous Will Smith incident where he shouted to "keep my name out of your f*cking mouth" while also referencing Hogan's speech to the WWE locker room after being reinstated into the Hall of Fame after previously being kicked out when a video of him surfaced showing him use racial slurs multiple times. Many took offense to Hogan's apology speech because he focused on warning the roster to be careful of they say due to the prevalence of cell phones and cameras which came across as a non-apology but more an excuse at being caught. Benjamin's Hurt Syndicate associate MVP also responded to Hogan's most recent clip by saying "Pathological lying piece of human excrement."
