If anyone knows a thing or two about being a career-long squeaky clean babyface only to turn on the fans and shock the pro wrestling world by going heel, it's Hulk Hogan.
The man who spent years and years of wearing the red and yellow and urging fans to "train, say your prayers and eat your vitamins" famously turned heel in WCW to form the New World Order (nWo) faction alongside Kevin Nash and Scott Hall.
Following his own shocking heel turn alongside The Rock and Travis Scott at WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto, John Cena has had the pro wrestling world buzzing with the unexpected move during his "The Last Time Is Now" farewell tour.
During a recent interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, "The Hulkster" was asked for his thoughts on the heel turn by Cena that no one saw coming.
"It’s one of the best heel turns I’ve seen in a long, long time," Hogan said. "All the major players were involved. I can’t say enough about The Rock, too–he was incredible. They did it right, I’ll tell you that."
Hogan continued, "It’s going to work as long as John wants to stay plugged in. I don’t know his schedule or how many days he’ll work, but he definitely has everyone’s attention. Plus, The Rock is involved, too. This could heat up more than anyone is expecting. It could be so hot that it’s crazy, which will lead to a WrestleMania match you’ll never forget."
