IMPACT Wrestling announced last month on their flagship show that the IMPACT Knockouts World Title is set to be defended at their IMPACT Slammiversary Event at the end of the month, when IMPACT Knockouts World Champion Tasha Steelz puts her IMPACT Knockouts World Title on the line against Mia Yim, Deonna Purrazzo, Chelsea Green and Jordynne Grace in the first-ever Queen of the Mountain Match.
Pro wrestling legend and top IMPACT Wrestling Star Mickie James is set to make an appearance at their IMPACT Slammiversary Event, but she will not be competing on the PPV. James recently announced on the Battleground Podcast, which was later confirmed by the company that the former IMPACT Knockouts World Champion will be the Special Guest Enforcer for the Queen Of The Mountain Match.
James said during the podcast that she has history with Steelz, Green and Purrazzo and while she will make sure the match is fair, she will also be there to put the winner on notice as she always has her eye on the title.
Mickie James lost the IMPACT Knockouts World Title to Tasha Steelz at Sacrifice on March 5, then lost the Street Fight rematch later that month on an episode of IMPACT Wrestling. Mickie last competed for IMPACT Wrestling at their Multiverse Of Matches Event during WWE's WrestleMania 38 weekend, where she and her husband Nick Aldis defeated Chelsea Green and her husband fellow IMPACT Star Matt Cardona.
IMPACT Wrestling will be celebrating their 20th anniversary with their Slammiversary Event on Sunday, June 19th from the Nashville Fairgrounds in Nashville, Tennessee.
