IMPACT ON AXS TV RESULTS (2/3/2022)

This week's show kicks off with the "We Own The Night" normal cold open video package and then we shoot inside the IMPACT Zone set up in Pembroke Pines, Florida.

We hear the commentary duo welcome us to the show before heading down to the ring for our first match of the evening, which will feature a title on-the-line.

IMPACT Digital Media Championship
Matt Cardona vs. Jordynne Grace (C)

From there, we shoot down to the squared circle where we see the first ring entrance for this opening contest. Out comes the challenger, the creator of the former Internet Championship -- Matt Cardona.

Cardona settles into the ring and his music fades down. Now the familiar sounds of the entrance music for the reigning IMPACT Digital Media Champion plays as Jordynne Grace makes her way to the ring.

With both competitors in the ring, the bell sounds and we're off-and-running with our first match of tonight's show. After some early back-and-forth action, we see Cardona start to pull ahead into the offensive lead.

Grace ends up getting in some shine of her own but it doesn't last long before the former WWE Superstar known as Zack Ryder ultimately finishes her off and scores the pin fall victory.

We have ourselves a new IMPACT Digital Media Champion folks, and his name is Matt Cardona. He ends up using a steel chair after faking like he is going to use the Digital Media title as a weapon. The ref takes the belt from him and he quickly grabs a chair and blasts Grace with it.

This sets up his Radio Silence finisher for the pin fall victory. We have ourselves a new Digital Media Champion -- the second ever person to hold the title. He did it in true heel fashion, too.

Winner and NEW IMPACT Digital Media Champion: Matt Cardona

W. Morrissey Wants To Get His Hands On Brian Myers & Moose

Now we shoot backstage where we hear an angry W. Morrissey storming around the locker room area. He is in search of Brian Myers, who is nowhere to be found.

As Morrissey continues to make a ruckus behind-the-scenes in the dressing room, we head to a commercial break. When we return from the break, IMPACT Vice President Scott D'Amore approaches him.

D'Amore tries to calm him down, saying if he wants to get his hands on Myers, he can make that happen. Morrissey is pleased to hear this and says now he's just got to find Moose.

The IMPACT V.P. tells him he's got Moose at the upcoming IMPACT No Surrender pay-per-view like he told him when he made the match on last week's show. The segment wraps up shortly after this.

JONAH vs. Crazzy Steve

After the backstage segment with Morrissey wraps up, we shoot back inside the arena where the commentary team runs down the advertised lineup for tonight's show, as well as some of the matches already set for the upcoming No Surrender pay-per-view later this month.

Now we head back down to the ring, as it's time for our second bout of the evening. JONAH's theme hits and the big man makes his way down to the ring for one-on-one action. He settles in the ring and his music fades down.

The theme for Decay hits and out comes Crazzy Steve accompanied by Black Taurus. With both participants in our second bout of the show now in the ring, the bell sounds and we're off-and-running with this one.

Early on we see Crazzy Steve looking determined, however after JONAH settles into offensive cruise control, it isn't long before he heads to the top-rope and hits his finisher to put away Steve and scory another easy victory.

Winner: JONAH

Backstage: Matt Cardona Comments On His Actions Earlier Tonight

Once the JONAH-Crazzy Steve bout wraps up, we see Black Taurus and JONAH staring each other down while Steve recovers. Nothing ends up happening, however, and we end up shooting backstage.

As the camera catches up with Gia Miller in the dressing room area, she approaches Matt Cardona as he is on his way out of the building. She asks him about his actions towards Jordynne Grace in the opener earlier tonight, where he ended up capturing the IMPACT Digital Media Championship.

Cardona plays dumb and acts like he's unaware of what she is talking about. She asks what Chelsea Green is going to say about what he did, and he again acts oblivious. Before exiting the building, he tells her to ask Josh Alexander what it's like to be married to a loser. On that note, we head to another commercial break.

The IInspiration Gives Kaleb With A K A Gift, Madison Rayne Doesn't Like It

As we settle back in from the ad break, we catch up with Kaleb With A K and Madison Rayne of The Influence backstage when they are approached by IMPACT Knockouts Tag-Team Champions The IInspiration.

The tag-champs end up presenting Kaleb with a gift before ultimately heading off. Madison asks Kaleb if he's actually going to keep it. He says he should at least see what it is. He opens it to the dismay of Rayne and we see it is a cell phone with a photo of the tag champs.

Jonathan Gresham vs. Steve Maclin

Now we head back inside the IMPACT Zone in the arena in Pembroke Pines, FL. and it's time to get ready for our third match of the night. On that note out comes the two guys competing in what will be a rematch of their recent showdown in a "Pure Rules" match a couple of weeks ago.

With that said, ROH Champion Jonathan Gresham and Steve Maclin each make their walks to the ring. The bell sounds and we're off-and-running with this one. As the commentators point out, there is no "Pure Rules" stipulation for this bout this time, which they point out is something Maclin wanted.

As it turns out, Maclin was right in his opinion so far, as he jumps off to an early offensive lead over the Ring Of Honor title-holder. Maclin grounds Gresham and controls him on the mat. Gresham ends up working his way back to his feet, however it isn't long before Maclin hoists him up and dumps him on his head with a back-suplex.

On the mat again, Gresham uses some good mat-wrestling skills to gain top position and get in some control offense of his own. The commentators point out that his mat-based skills are coming to the forefront and becoming a contributing factor to the shifting of momentum in this match. Shortly after taking control of the offensive lead, we head to a mid-match commercial break.

When we return from the break, we see that Maclin is back in control of the offense again in this non-title affair. The commentators point out that Maclin has been dominating the action throughout the break. We see him taking it to him before Gresham shows his first signs of life by knocking Maclin out of the ring where he crashes down to the floor at ringside.

Back in the ring, Gresham continues to fight into competitive form. Maclin keeps bringing the onslaught, however, and we've got ourselves a good old-fashioned brawl breaking out as the two start trading punches. They go shot-for-shot as the crowd starts reacting to each one landing. Maclin mixes in some back elbows, prompting Gresham to hit the ropes and we have lift off as he flies into Maclin's direction, only for Maclin to slam him down with a vengeance.

The commentators put that over big and then we see Maclin start to take over once again. He slingshots Gresham throat first under the bottom rope. He follows that up by pummeling Gresham with a non-stop barrage of ground strikes until the referee has finally seen enough. He calls for the bell and we've got a finish in this one, but unfortunately it is a disqualification.

Winner via Disqualification: Jonathan Gresham

After The Match: Maclin Beats Down Gresham, Honor No More Beats Down Maclin

Gresham is going to win the match, but not the war, as Maclin continues his violent beatdown of the ROH Champion long after the bell sounds.

From there, he beats down Gresham until finally the Honor No More crew hits the ring and begins giving Maclin a taste of his own medicine.

They have the numbers advantage and immediately Maclin is forced to realize this the hard way. They work him over as Gresham exits the ring.

As he hesitantly heads to the back, he stops to turn around and watch the carnage continue to unfold in the ring while the commentators talk about how Honor No More is continuing to try and get the ROH Champion to join their group. After this, we head to another commercial break.

Josh Alexander vs. Vincent

We're back from the break and it's time to get right back down to action with our next match of the evening. With that said, out comes Josh Alexander to a nice reaction from the fans in the Pembroke Pines area. He settles into the ring and his theme music dies down.

Also in the ring is his opponent for this one, which is the aforementioned Honor No More faction's own Vincent. The bell sounds and we are now off-and-running with this one. Early on we see "The Walking Weapon" faring well against the former ROH star. It isn't long before Vincent takes over and settles into the offensive lead.

The commentators talk about how evenly-matched these two have been thus far in this match, and the action shows exactly that. We see Vincent hit a nice suplex and then follows up by pounding away at the former X-Division Champion on the mat. Alexander ends up working his way back to a vertical base and he is starting to show signs of competitiveness as the crowd tries to rally him back into the offensive lead.

After Alexander starts to finally settle into the offensive driver's seat we see Vincent go the extra mile to ensure that doesn't happen for long, as he begins getting some assistance from the Honor No More crew. All hell breaks loose as the match continues and we eventually see Alexander take back over control of things and finish off Vincent to pull off the victory despite all odds.

Winner: Josh Alexander

After The Match: Kenny King Attacks Josh Alexander, Aligns With Honor No More

Once the match wraps up, we see the Honor No More guys looking to get the last laugh, which they ultimately do after we see Kenny King arrive inside the ring out of nowhere. He ends up beating down Alexander as the commentators react in stunned fashion. He heads out of the ring to join Honor No More as they head to the back, leaving "The Walking Weapon" laid out in the ring.

W. Morrissey Finally Finds Moose, Brawl Breaks Out

From there, the cameras catch up with W. Morrissey as he finds and approaches Moose in a private room. He immediately goes after him and a big brawl ensues. We then head to a commercial break.

Mickie James, Chelsea Green, Tasha Steelz & Savannah Evans Segment

We then transition backstage inside the IMPACT Zone again where Gia Miller is with IMPACT Knockouts Champion Mickie James. She is joined by Chelsea Green, whom James says she knows wants to wrestle her but she appreciates her being on her side.

From there, in comes Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans and after they get in each other's faces, this segment wraps up and we move on to another match with the broadcast returning to the ring.

Honor No More Introduces Kenny King, Talk IMPACT No Surrender Showdown

We shoot to the backstage area again and catch up with the Honor No More crew, who are still pumped up after their post-match attack of Josh Alexander along with Kenny King.

Speaking of which, he enters the camera shot backstage with the group and introduces himself as the newest member of the faction. He vows to help Honor No More take out IMPACT and take over.

King says there's no room for lies or games, and certainly no room for honor. After he finishes speaking, we hear some final comments from Vincent.

Vincent talks about the high-stakes 5-on-5 match scheduled between Honor No More and Team IMPACT at the upcoming IMPACT No Surrender show.

Masha Slamovich vs. Kaci Lennox

After the Honor No More backstage segment wraps up, we see another vignette hyping the IMPACT Wrestling debut of new Knockout "The Quintessential Diva" Gisele Shaw, we shoot back down to the ring for a one-on-one Knockouts contest.

In the ring is Kaci Lennox, who awaits the entrance of her opponent for this week. On that note, out comes the emerging force of the IMPACT Knockouts division -- Masha Slamovich.

Once she settles into the ring, her music dies down and the bell sounds to get this one off-and-running. It doesn't last long at all, which has become the case for all of Slamovich's matches in the promotion since arriving on the scene as one of the new dominant forces of the Knockouts division.

Winner: Masha Slamovich

Deonna Purrazzo Issues Open Challenge For ROH Women's Title

We shoot to a backstage interview segment after the Slamovich squash match victory, as Gia Miller is standing by with former IMPACT Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo.

She talks about not getting the respect she feels she deserves and after airing out her grievances a bit, she goes on to issue an open challenge for next week to anyone who wants a shot at the ROH Women's Championship.

After that, we wrap up the brief backstage segment and head back inside the IMPACT Zone as we prepare for some more in-ring action.

Bhupinder Gujjar vs. John Skyler

The camera shot returns inside the IMPACT Zone in Pembroke Pines, where the ring announcer introduces John Skyler and then out comes the newcomer to the scene here at IMPACT, the latest find from Raj Singh -- "The Indian Tank" Bhupinder Gujjar.

We hear the bell and this one gets off-and-running. Just as fast as we hear the opening bell for this bout, we hear another bell to signify the end of the contest. "The Indian Tank" is for real, folks!

Winner Bhupinder Gujjar

The Bullet Club vs. Ace Austin, Madman Fulton, Jake Something & Mike Bailey

It's main event time here on IMPACT On AXS TV. The ring entrances for the team of Ace Austin, Madman Fulton, Jake Something and "Speedball" Mike Bailey takes place as we get ready for the final bout of this week's show.

It will be an eight man tag-team affair, as the aforementioned foursome settles inside the squared circle. We also witness the ring entrance of their opponents for this week, The Bullet Club foursome of Jay White, Chris Bey and The Guerillas of Destiny Tanga L'oa and Tama Tanga.

All eight men are settled inside the squared circle and it's time to get this week's headliner off-and-running. Early on we see some high-energy, fast-paced intense action with both teams having their moments to shine.

As the heel foursome of The Bullet Club start to take over control of the action, we head to a mid-match commercial break as the action continues inside the ring. When we return from the break, we see the action still in progress, however the opposition to The Bullet Club are starting to show signs of life.

Following some more back-and-forth action, we see some high spots and interferences, and after the dust settles and the smoke clears, we see one-half of the G.O.D. duo help The Bullet Club secure the victory.

Winners: The Bullet Club

After The Match: The Good Brothers & Violent By Design Attack

The Bullet Club theme plays and the foursome celebrate their victory until out of nowhere out comes The Good Brothers and Violent By Design and all hell breaks loose. As the brawl continues we hear the commentators wrapping things up, and that's how this week's show goes off the air. Thanks for joining us!
