IMPACT ON AXS TV RESULTS (3/3/2022)
This week's show kicks off with the usual "We Own The Night" cold open and theme song. After that, we shoot inside the IMPACT Zone where the commentators welcome us to the show.
Eddie Edwards vs. Steve Maclin
From there, we head down to ringside to get ready for our opening bout of the evening. We hear the familiar sounds of Eddie Edwards' theme song and out he comes after his explosive segment that ended last week's show.
Edwards waits in the ring for the entrance of his opponent, and on that note, Steve Maclin's theme hits and out he comes. The two end up brawling in the entrance aisle to get this one off-and-running.
The match finally gets officially underway a few moments later and we see Edwards jump in the offensive driver's seat. He controls the action for a while but eventually gets distracted by the fans.
This leads to Maclin blasting him with a crosshair spear and a backbreaker on the apron. He follows that up with a big elbow but can't finish off the IMPACT veteran.
Soon after, we see Edwards grab a kendo stick and blast Maclin for a blatant disqualification. This ends the match, but not the beatdown, as Edwards continues to beat on Maclin with the kendo stick after the bell.
Winner via DQ: Steve Maclin
After The Match: All Hell Breaks Loose
Once the match wraps up, the post-match beatdown from Edwards to Maclin continues until finally members from Team IMPACT run down.
Honor No More ends up coming out as well, however, and all hell breaks loose. Maria Kanellis gets on the mic and says the Team IMPACT guys are brainwashed and think that honor matters.
She talks about Edwards turning on them and then things move on to Heath and Vincent talking trash back-and-forth.
Heath vs. Vincent
This leads to an impromptu match between the two, which is up now. These two immediately get after it. After some early action, we head to a mid-match commercial break.
We return from the break to see Vincent in control of the match, taking it to Heath. They go back-and-forth for a while and then we head to another commercial break as the action continues.
Now we're back again and we see Heath starting to fight from underneath. He gets back to competitive form but then Vincent takes over again.
He nearly finishes Heath off but ultimately Heath avoids his signature move and hits his own to score the pin fall victory.
Winner: Heath
After The Match: All Hell Breaks Loose Again!
As soon as the match wraps up, we get a replay of the first post-match scene, as the Honor No More gang swarms the ring for a beatdown.
Team IMPACT again runs out to make the save, this time running off the Honor No More guys. Heath stands tall. We then head to our Flashback Moment of the Week segment.
Masha Slamovich vs. Rachell Pose
When we return from the Flashback Moment of the Week segment, we hear the sounds of Masha Slamovich's theme song.
Out she comes for what is the third match of the show here on the go-home edition of IMPACT On AXS TV. In the ring her opponent is standing and waiting for her.
The ring announcer introduces Slamovich and then her opposition, who is named Rachell Pose. As usual, Slamovich dominates her with ease and finishes her off with the snow plow for the easy squash match victory to improve to a perfect 5-0 since joining IMPACT.
Winner: Masha Slamovich
G.O.D. & V.B.D. Have A Real Business Arrangement
We shoot backstage and G.O.D. talks about Jay White being a liar. They mention bringing him into this and being betrayed by him.
Entering the scene is Violent By Design, who says how they are both on the same side. G.O.D. disagrees. VBD then says how about they call it a real business arrangement.
They decide to make their presence felt and get The Good Brothers and The Bullet Club tonight. We head to another commercial break after this.
Cassie Lee vs. Madison Rayne
After a quick backstage segment with Ace Austin once again trying to recruit Mike Bailey, we head back inside the IMPACT Zone for our next match of the show.
Out comes Madison Rayne accompanied by Kaleb With A K and the other-half of her Influence tag-team. They berate Kaleb on the way to the squared circle as always.
Now the theme for The IInspiration hits and out comes Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay. The bell sounds and we're off-and-running with this one-on-one Knockouts match.
We see some back-and-forth action early on and then after a bunch of interference from The Influence side, and some from McKay as well, we get to the finish.
The finish sees Cassie Lee take advantage of chaos going on outside the ring with the members of The Influence and The IInspiration not involved in the ring. She hits her finisher and picks up the 1-2-3. After the bout, we head to another commercial break.
Winner: Cassie Lee
Jake Something Sends Pre-Sacrifice Message To Trey Miguel
We return from the break to a vignette from Jake Something. He talks about his time being now and how he is better than he has ever been.
Something vows to capture the X-Division Championship from Trey Miguel when the two meet at IMPACT Sacrifice this Sunday.
Knockouts Title Eliminator
Tasha Steelz vs. Chelsea GreenIt's time to find out who will be challenging for the Knockouts Championship at the IMPACT Sacrifice special event this coming weekend.
With that said, the theme for Mickie James hits and out she comes to the tune of her own "Hardcore Country" song. She takes a seat at the announce desk, where she will be providing special guest commentary for this match.
Out comes Tasha Steelz, who settles in the ring as her music fades down. Out next is her opponent for this title eliminator bout -- Chelsea Green.
The bell sounds and we're off-and-running with this one. Early on we see Tasha faring well, however Green ends up fighting her way into the offensive lead.
Meanwhile, on commentary, we hear Mickie James exchanging barbs with Matthew Rehwoldt, while Tom Hannifan does his best to call the action in the ring.
As Green starts to fare well, we see her on the outside of the ring where Savannah Evans runs over and turns her inside out with a huge shot.
Mickie James pops up from her spot at the commentary desk, but after promising not to get involved during this match, she stands and watches with anger as Evans rolls a lifeless Green into the ring for Tasha to finish off for the pin fall victory.
With the win, she moves on to challenge Mickie James for the Knockouts Title at Sacrifice.
Winner and ADVANCING to Knockouts Title match at Sacrifice: Tasha Steelz
Johnny Swinger vs. JONAH
After a break, we head to the ring again for our next match of the evening. Out comes Johnny Swinger, who settles in the ring and plays to the crowd a bit.
Out next is his opponent for this advertised one-on-one contest. On that note, out comes the monster JONAH for this singles bout.
With both men in the ring, the bell sounds and we are off-and-running with this one. Swinger rakes the eyes of JONAH and seemed to be in position to get off to a good start, however JONAH takes over seconds later.
It isn't long after that when JONAH wraps this one up, turning Swinger inside-out with a big shot and then climbing to the top-rope for his high-risk finisher. He hits it and scores the pin fall victory. After the match, we see PCO come out, only for JONAH to beat him down.
The two end up getting into it again and eventually the comotion settles down and JONAH heads to the back. We then head to a commercial break.
Winner: JONAH
Giselle Shaw Confronts Deonna Purrazzo
We return from the break and we head backstage where Gia Miller is standing by with Deonna Purrazzo.
"The Virtuosa" gloats for a minute or so about winning all of her champ-champ challenges. Up walks Giselle Shaw.
"The Quintessential Diva" talks about how she beat Lady Frost, and Purrazzo just picked the bones of what was left.
The two get into a back-and-forth verbal exchange for a moment and then we learn from Shaw that a match between the two will be taking place at Sacrifice.
The Bullet Club vs. Violent By Design & G.O.D.
Once the Purrazzo-Shaw segment wraps up, we head to the commentary desk where the two run down the lineup for the upcoming IMPACT Sacrifice show this weekend.
From there, Jay White, Chris Bey & The Good Brothers make their way out. The Bullet Club foursome settle in the ring for our main event of the evening as we head to another commercial break.
We return from the break to the collective ring entrances of G.O.D. and V.B.D., and as soon as Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa hit the ring, the brawl is on and fistacuffs are flying all over the place.
VBD enters the mix as well and now it's complete violent insanity going on all over the ring. Finally, Scott D'Amore comes out to address this.
D'Amore says it's clear they're not going to be able to provide the main event as advertised. Everyone boos and he eventually informs them, as well as the talent in the ring, that this will now instead be a no disqualification match.
The match gets going and the brawl is back on. After several minutes of warfare, we get to the finish of the actual match. We see Doering and Jay White duking it out when Doering knocks White out to the floor.
A door is brought into the ring and the commentators immediately refer to it as "The Forbidden Door." We see Doering look to use it but he loses it and Bey ends up tricking Doering into going shoulder first into the door.
Deaner blasts Bey with a chair but White ends up getting him with the half and half. He follows that up with his Bladerunner finisher for the win.
Winners: The Bullet Club
After The Match: The Action Continues ...
After the match, the brawl continues and ends up in the back and parking lot as G.O.D. is on the warpath.
The Good Brothers end up high-tailing it out of the building and off the lot altogether. White and Bey celebrate in the ring as this week's Sacrifice go-home show goes off the air.
That's how this one wraps up, thanks for joining us!
