A huge match announcement was made during last night's IMPACT Wrestling for the promotion's 2022 Hard To Kill PPV Event. It was announced that IMPACT Wrestling World Champion Moose will defend his IMPACT World Title against W. Morrissey and Matt Cardona in a Three-Way Matchup. The match was made official after Matt Cardona and Eddie Edwards defeated W. Morrissey and Moose in the show's main event and the IMPACT World Champion was viscously attacked by W. Morrissey, officially ending their alliance.
Moose became the IMPACT World Champion at Bound For Glory, when he cashed-in his opportunity and beat Josh Alexander. Moose then had his first title defense at last month's Turning Point special, when he successfully retained against Eddie Edwards in a Full Metal Mayhem Match.
