IMPACT Wrestling Adds Big “High Stakes Showdown” To Their Emergence PPV Event

During last night's episode of IMPACT Wrestling, a big 10-Man Tag Team Match which is being billed as a “High Stakes Showdown” has been added to the promotion's upcoming IMPACT Emergence PPV. A backstage segment took place during last night's episode following a power interruption, where IMPACT Executive Vice President Scott D’Amore made his way to the IMPACT production truck and discovered that Honor No More was responsible for the interruptions.

D' Amore then announced that Honor No More will face Bullet Club in a 10-Man Tag Team Match at IMPACT Emergence and if Honor No More loses, they must disband, but if Honor No More is victorious, then the O.G.K. (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) will receive a title shot from IMPACT's World Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers on the PPV. The 10-Man Tag Team Match will see The Bullet Club’s Ace Austin, IMPACT World Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers, Hikuleo and Chris Bey take on Honor No More’s Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, Eddie Edwards, PCO and Vincent. Kenny King will not be in the match but Maria Kanellis-Bennett is advertised to accompany Honor No More down to the ring.

Scott D'Amore took to his Twitter and credited Jim Cornette for coming up with the idea for the match which is also being billed as “the final battle for faction supremacy.”

IMPACT Wrestling’s Emergence will take place on Friday, August 12th inside Cicero Stadium in Chicago, Illinois. The PPV will air live on IMPACT Plus, FITE TV and on YouTube for Ultimate Insiders members.
