IMPACT Wrestling Announces The Main Event Of Their Bound For Glory PPV

At last night's IMPACT Victory Road Event, IMPACT World Champion Christian Cage successfully retained his IMPACT World Title against Ace Austin, and IMPACT X-Division Champion Josh Alexander successfully retained his IMPACT X-Division Title against Chris Sabin. Immediately following the main event match, IMPACT X-Division Champion Josh Alexander made his way out and confronted the IMPACT World Champion.

Josh Alexander approached Christian Cage and told him that he was going with "Option C" for Bound For Glory, which means that he is relinquishing his IMPACT X-Division Championship to challenge Christian Cage for Christian's IMPACT World Championship at next month's Bound For Glory PPV Event.

Alexander then held his IMPACT X-Division Title high above his head, indicating he’s surrendering his title to officially challenge Christian for the IMPACT World Title. Christian then threw his title in the air and Victory Road came to a close with both wrestlers having a stare-down.

This will be Christian Cage's third title defense since winning the IMPACT World Title from AEW World Champion Kenny Omega on the premiere episode of AEW Rampage. Josh Alexander won the IMPACT X-Division Title at this past April's Rebellion Event in a 3-Way Match and has held the title for more than 144+ days prior to relinquishing it at Victory Road.
