IMPACT Wrestling On AXS TV Recap (04/21): Moose Apologizes To Josh Alexander

IMPACT Wrestling recently had the latest episode of their flagship show on AXS TV, where we saw Moose publicly apologize to Josh Alexander and Josh Alexander's family in the main event segment.

- Heath and Rhino def. Rich Swann and Willie Mack in a Before The IMPACT Match.

- IMPACT World Tag Team Champions Violent By Design (Eric Young and Deaner) def. Decay (Black Taurus and Crazzy Steve) in a Non-Title Match.

- We then see a video package highlighting the heated rivalry between IMPACT World Champion Moose and his challenger for Rebellion Josh Alexander.

- A video is then shown of IMPACT's Under Siege being announced for Saturday, May 7th on IMPACT Plus.

- We then have a backstage segment, where Rosemary and Havok are checking on Black Taurus and Crazzy Steve. IMPACT Knockouts Champion Tasha Steelz then appears out of nowhere and attacks Rosemary, while Savannah Evans takes out Havok.

- We then have an in-ring segment, where IMPACT Wrestling Digital Media Champion Matt Cardona says it is no shock that he is in an ECW arena because he is the true Death Match king. Matt Cardona then says that he helped Brian Myers because he wanted to re-form his old tag team. Brian Myers then says he and Matt Cardona put their issues to the side because they are both their best selves at the present moment. Chelsea Green then says that they were all champions and all that people could talk about and now, they are the strongest unit in professional wrestling. Guido Maritato and Tony Mamaluke then made their way down to the ring and Matt Cardona calls them fellow ECW originals and Guido Maritato says his career started right here in the 2300 Arena and tells Matt Cardona not to disrespect this building or the original ECW. Matt Cardona then calls them irrelevant and Guido says Matt Cardona and Brian Myers aren't The Major Players, they are the major sissy's and challenges Matt Cardona to an IMPACT Digital Media Championship match.

- Matt Cardona (c) def. Guido Maritato to retain his IMPACT Digital Media Championship. After the match, Matt Cardona and Brian Myers attack Little Guido and Tony Marmaluke. The Major Players then set a table up, but W. Morrissey makes his way down and looks to slam Brian Myers through the table but Green low blows W. Morrissey. Brian Myers then goes for BQE on Morrissey but Jordynne Grace comes down and makes the save. Matt Cardona then attacks Grace, but Grace drops him with a slam. Grace then tells Morrissey to slam Cardona through the table, to which he obliges.

- We then have a backstage segment, where Eddie Edwards is talking about his match with Jonathan Gresham. Matt Taven and Mike Bennett then walk in and say in two days, they will show the IMPACT universe why they came to the company. Kenny King then appears and says there is not a single member of Honor No More who doesn't know how to silence Bullet Club and ponders how they will shoot with no bullets left in their chamber.

- We then have a segment, where JONAH says he put PCO down and he will not be held responsible for what he does to Tomohiro Ishii at Rebellion.

- Shera def. Gabriel Rodriguez.

- We then have a backstage segment, where Bhupinder Gujjar is asked by Gia Miller if he has any regrets not teaming up with Raj. Bhupinder says he has no regrets and he is here to make his mark in IMPACT Wrestling.

- We then have a backstage segment, where IMPACT World Champion Moose is with IMPACT EVP Scott D'Amore. Scott D'Amore tells Moose to issue a public apology for his recent actions or he will be stripped of his title. Moose then asks Scott D'Amore if he would actually strip him for something he didn't do on IMPACT Wrestling grounds and asks for assurance that nothing will happen to him if he issues the apology. Scott D'Amore then says Josh Alexander's wife never got an assurance before Moose did what he did but he will be there waiting on Moose's apology.

- Bullet Club (Jay White, Chris Bey, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson) def. Honor No More (Kenny King, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett and Vincent).

- We then have a backstage segment, where Steve Maclin criticizes his opponents at Rebellion and says they always needing someone to watch their backs.

— We then have a backstage segment, where Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay of The IInspiration talk about their IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Title match at Rebellion and say that they will become two-time IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Champions because they are the most inspirational and iconic tag team of all-time.

— We then have a backstage segment, where Taya Valkyrie says she never lost the AAA Reina de Reinas Title and at Rebellion, she will reclaim her prized possession and become a four-time champion.

- IMPACT X-Division Champion Trey Miguel and Laredo Kid def. "Speedball" Mike Bailey and Ace Austin. After the match, Ace Austin continues his attack on Trey Miguel, but when he asks Bailey to join the assault, Bailey takes him out.

- We then have a backstage segment, where Vincent revives PCO after he was taken out by JONAH last week.

- We then have a segment, where Moose gives a formal apology to Josh Alexander and Josh's family. Moose’s longtime attorney stars to read the written apology, but Moose interrupts him and says nobody’s family deserves to go through what he put Alexander’s family through. Moose then says that he’s sorry for showing the world how much of a loser Alexander is and that he’s not sorry for what he is going to do to Alexander at Rebellion. Moose then says that after he beats Josh, he will be begging him to show his wife and child what a real man looks like. Alexander then makes his way down to the ring and takes out the security. D’Amore allows Alexander to pass and he exchanges blows with Moose. Moose then puts his lawyer in front of him, allowing Moose to capitalize with a Uranage. Josh Alexander then turns the tide and sends Moose through a table with the C4 Spike.
