IMPACT Wrestling On AXS TV Recap (06/22): Bully and Maclin vs. Kazarian and Edwards

IMPACT Wrestling recently held the latest episode of their flagship show, where the show's main event saw Bully Ray and Steve Maclin take on Frankie Kazarian and Eddie Edwards in a Tag Team Match.

- Jody Threat def. Nevaeh in a Before The IMPACT Match.

- Brian Myers and The Good Hands (Jason Hotch and John Skyler) def. oVe (Sami Callihan, Jake Crist and Madman Fulton) in a 6-Man Tag Team Match.

- We then head backstage, where Eddie Edwards assures Frankie Kazarian that he can be trusted in their match against Bully Ray and Steve Maclin.

- Rich Swann then offers his longtime friend Sami Callihan assistance in the fight against Moose and Brian Myers.

- Dirty Dango def. Bhupinder Gujjar in a Singles Match. After the match, Director of Authority Santino Marella makes Dirty Dango pay for his recent actions by striking him with the Cobra.

- Nevaeh then thanks Jody Threat for stepping into the ring with her earlier tonight on BTI. Nevaeh then tries to reunite with her former tag team partner, Havok, but she has since been transformed into Jessicka. Nevaeh then thinks she can help the Death Dollz find out what happened to their former selves in the Undead Realm.

- We then see that Zicky Dice earned his referee’s license as Johnny Swinger hopes that it will help him on his quest for 50 wins.

- Jonathan Gresham and "Speedball" Mike Bailey def. The Design (Kon and Angels) in a Tag Team Match.

- We then head backstage, where Gia Miller asks Trinity if she’s worried about her scheduled IMPACT Knockouts World Title Match against Deonna Purrazzo becoming a three-way with the addition of Gisele Shaw. Trinity then predicts that Purrazzo will handle business and keep their singles match intact and in an attempt to even the odds, Trinity challenges Jai Vidal to a match next week.

- Jimmy Jacobs then reads a statement written by Nick Aldis following his blindside attack on IMPACT World Champion Alex Shelley last week. Aldis said he will not be present on tonight’s episode of IMPACT after he received threats and harassments on social media and at his home. Shelley then sends a message to Aldis in the form of a superkick to Jacobs.

- Killer Kelly def. Knockouts World Tag Team Champion Taylor Wilde in a Non-Title Match. After the match, The Coven jump Killer Kelly from behind when Masha Slamovich makes her way down to the ring with a dog collar and chain. Slamovich then defends Kelly as they send The Coven retreating to the back.

- We then head backstage, where Gia Miller interviews IMPACT President Scott D'Amore and he announces that before he teams with PCO in his return to competition at Slammiversary, he has placed Bully Ray and Steve Maclin on notice.

- Joe Hendry (c) def. Yuya Uemura to retain his IMPACT Digital Media Championship. After the match, Kenny King goes face-to-face with Joe Hendry and sarcastically congratulates him on his victory.

- Bully Ray and Steve Maclin def. Frankie Kazarian and Eddie Edwards in a Tag Team Match. After the match, Bully Ray and Steve Maclin stand tall as IMPACT Wrestling goes off the air.
