IMPACT Wrestling Star Jake Something Could Become A Free Agent Soon

Jake Something made his pro wrestling debut back in 2014 and even competed for a number of promotions such as IMPACT Wrestling in 2017 and 2018, but only signed with the promotion in 2019. He started out as Cousin Jake in IMPACT Wrestling and was put in a team called The Deaners with Cody Deaner, but his in-ring name was changed to Jake Something in early 2021.

Fightful Select reports that Jake Something’s IMPACT contract is set to expire sometime by the end of February and that he will become a free agent by that time, unless Jake Something comes to terms on a new deal with IMPACT Wrestling. It was also mentioned on the report that Monday, February 28th is the last day of Jake Something’s deal with IMPACT Wrestling, but it was not made official if this is also when he actually finishes up with the company as a lot of wrestlers in IMPACT are working without any contracts at the moment.

There's no word yet on if IMPACT Wrestling and Jake Something has had any contract negotiations talks about an extension on his deal, but there was said to be at least a brief discussion on the matter.
