Indie Star Makes Her NXT Debut During Last Night's Show With New In-Ring Name

Last night's episode of NXT TV featured the NXT TV in-ring debut of Indie Star Karissa Rivera, who is now using the “Elektra Lopez” in-ring name. During Franky Monet's “World Premiere Encore,” Lopez made her debut, but came out on the losing end to Monet.

Lopez was part of the same February WWE Performance Center Class that also included Franky Monet, Joe Ariola, Jade, Million Dollar Champion LA Knight, Zayda Ramier, Parker Boudreaux, Bronson Rechsteiner, Zoey Stark, Trey Baxter, Amari Miller, Carmelo Hayes, Gigi Dolin, Asher Hale, Harlem Bravado, Matrick Belton, Kasper, and Avery Taylor.

Prior to signing with the WWE, Elektra Lopez has competed for a number of promotions like ROH, IMPACT Wrestling, NEW and Women’s Wrestling Revolution. Lopez even competed on the April 9th, 2019 SmackDown episode, when she teamed with AEW Star Kris Statlander in a losing effort against the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions at the time The IIconics.
