Ivar will join Erik on the sidelines.
One-half of The Viking Raiders is "out of action indefinitely" following the attack he endured at the hands of the returning Gallus on Tuesday night's episode of WWE NXT.
"As a result of the heinous attack by Gallus at the end of WWE NXT, Ivar has suffered an injury and will be out of action indefinitely," read the announcement shared via the official WWE NXT X account.
WWE followed up with an announcement via their X account to explain how this affects the ongoing WWE Speed Championship Contender Tournament.
"With Ivar sidelined due to injury, Apollo Crews has received a second chance in the No. 1 Contender’s Tournament and will face Tyler Bate in the Semifinals this Wednesday on WWE Speed," the announcement read.
