Jake "The Snake" Roberts respects the in-ring skills of Bret "The Hitman" Hart.
But that doesn't mean he thinks he ever looked at the Canadian pro wrestling legend as "championship material" during his run in WWE.
On the latest episode of his DDP Snakepit podcast, the WWE Hall of Fame legend spoke about how Hart was always a good hand bell-to-bell between the ropes, however he is quick to point out that there is a big difference between that talent and simply having "it."
“I just didn’t think he was championship material," Roberts stated when discussing 'The Hitman' during his DDP Snakepit podcast. "You know, with what Vince [McMahon] usually wanted in champions, carrying the belt, he didn’t have the look, didn’t have the size, you know?"
Roberts continued, "He didn’t have any of it. He’s a great wrestler, but there are a lot of f*cking great wrestlers out there.”
