Is Jamie Hayter willing to go another round with Hikaru Shida?
Who better to ask than the current All Elite Wrestling World Champion herself?
Following her singles clash with Shida on the December 21st episode of AEW Dynamite, Hayter spoke with Dark Puroresu Flowsion, and told the site: “I would happily wrestle Shida, she is the real deal. She almost made me believe I might not beat her. But I loved the challenge. I think doing it on a bigger stage at a PPV will make things much more intense and raise the stakes even higher. Having that ‘big match feel’ always escalates the situation and I think she has even more to give. I want the challenge.”
Hayter also discussed a potential collision with a former Shine Champion, stating: “Miyu (Yamashita) is another very talented woman who I want to wrestle. I really like her style. I would like to wrestle her in America, but I would LOVE to wrestle her in her home of Japan. Either works for me. That’s something I hope can happen in the future."
Hayter will battle The Bunny in a Title Eliminator Match on Wednesday's Championship Fight Night edition of AEW Dynamite.
