-- Former WWE employee Janel Grant, who is suing WWE and former CEO Vince McMahon, for sexual abuse and trafficking has filed a new legal motion in Connecticut state court against Dr. Carlon Colker, physician and owner of Peak Wellness, Inc. where Grant received treatment.
-- On July 1 of this year, Grant filed a Bill of Discovery in Connecticut court, seeking access to her complete medical and billing records while also requesting all communications between McMahon and Colker. In response to that, Colker and Peak Wellness filed a motion to dismiss on August 29 and today’s filing seeks to have that motion denied.
-- Lawyers representing Grant contend that McMahon sent her to Colker's clinic and then sexually abused her with an employee of the clinic. They also allege that McMahon Colker violated privacy laws but sharing Grant's medical records with McMahon while allowing him to control and dictate the treatment she was receiving. Grant was a patient at the clinic from November 2019 to April 2022 and was said to have attended over 60 appointments during that time.
"McMahon, who was in direct contact with Dr. Colker, obtained access to Ms. Grant’s private medical records and dictated her treatments. A physical therapist at Peak Wellness joined McMahon in the repeated sexual abuse of Ms. Grant, including one instance in which McMahon defecated on Ms. Grant’s head and forced her to continue engaging in a sexual act with the Peak Wellness employee."
