Jay White Pulled From Two NJPW Shows In Hiroshima Due To "Heat Stroke-Like Symptoms"

Don't expect to see Jay White on the next two shows during the NJPW shows from Hiroshima.

New Japan Pro Wrestling announced this week that "Switchblade" Jay White has been pulled from the aforementioned events scheduled for August 9th and August 10th due to "heat-stroke like symptoms."

NJPW has announced the following changes being made to the lineups for the next two shows via their official U.S. website at NJPW1972:

Jay White, who was scheduled to wrestle in Hiroshima Sun Plaza Hall this evening, has been affected by heat stroke like symptoms and as a result will be removed from August 9 and 10 cards due to an abundance of caution.

As an additional precautionary measure, White has undertaken COVID antigen testing, which has returned negative.

We apologise to fans who were looking forward to seeing White wrestle, and appreciate your understanding.
