To JBL, one of the greatest all-around contributors to the pro wrestling business is David "Fit" Finlay.
The Irish pro wrestling legend, who is currently working in a producer role behind-the-scenes in WWE, was the subject of some high-praise from JBL during his recent appearance on the Grown Ass Women podcast.
While being interviewed on the popular GAW TV program hosted by Mickie James, Lisa Marie Varon and SoCal Val, the WWE Hall of Fame legend spoke about Finlay as one of the greatest wrestlers in the history of the business.
Featured below are some of the highlights from the interview where JBL shares his thoughts on Fit Finlay's legacy in the business, noting he is among the greatest to ever step between the ropes, while also praising him for his work and influence over the women's wrestling revolution behind-the-scenes as a producer.
On his belief that David "Fit" Finlay is one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all-time: “By the time he came to the States, he was older and he got hurt a little bit, and he wasn’t like he was back in the early ’90s. I wish America could have seen him back in the late ’80s, early ’90s, he was the best I’ve ever seen.”
On his work with female talent as a WWE producer: “Then he got handed the women and … he helped turn, many of the women did it as well, helped turn that into the incredible [division] that we have today, this incredible movement.”
