Wrestling legend Jim Ross took to social media to share some good news with fans, announcing that his recent surgery for colon cancer was successful.
“Happy to say that today’s cancer surgery was a success. Now we begin to rehabilitate,” Ross wrote in a brief but optimistic update.

Ross also opened up about the experience on his podcast, noting that he expects to spend about six days in the hospital as he begins the recovery process. He took time to thank AEW President Tony Khan for his continued support and made it clear that he has no plans to retire from commentary anytime soon.
Ross, a beloved voice in professional wrestling for decades, has been open about his health battles in recent years, continuing to work through them with resilience and dedication.
