“Happy to say that today’s cancer surgery was a success. Now we begin to rehabilitate,” Ross wrote in a brief but optimistic update.

Ross also opened up about the experience on his podcast, noting that he expects to spend about six days in the hospital as he begins the recovery process. He took time to thank AEW President Tony Khan for his continued support and made it clear that he has no plans to retire from commentary anytime soon.
