Jim Ross won't be on the call this weekend.
"Good Ole' J.R." noted he would be taking time off after appearing on AEW Collision last Saturday with a hoarse voice and a completely swollen shut eye after a bad fall.
In an update, the WWE Hall of Fame legend and AEW commentator confirmed he will be missing the AEW Collision and AEW & NJPW: The Forbidden Door 2 shows this weekend.
"Looks like I’m likely to miss seeing my amazing friend Kazuchika Okada this run," Ross wrote via Twitter. "Okada vs Bryan Danielson will raise the bar significantly!"
Ross continued, "Guaranteed classic! 🤠."
