John Cena's in-ring WWE career continues to wind down with his last match scheduled for December. However, before that, a Cena appearance as early as this week may hold a special significance.
The WrestleVotes account is reporting that there are some people internally in the company who are "quietly" expecting tomorrow's Cena appearance on Friday Night Smackdown to be his final one on the blue brand. Cena only has seven remaining shows before he is done with only two of the unannounced. The report added that it is unlikely that one of those will be Smackdown.
If this ends up happening, it would mean Cena made his Smackdown debut and made his last Smackdown appearance in the same arena - Allstate Arena in Chicago.
