As noted, Trey Miguel will be putting his X-Division Championship on-the-line on this week's IMPACT On AXS TV show, as he defends against John Skyler in a match announced for the program on Thursday night.
Following the announcement of the X-Division title showdown for this week's show on AXS TV, the challenger in the bout, John Skyler, took to social media to comment on the significance of the match to him on a personal and professional level.
"I’m college educated," Skyler began when reacting to the match announcement on Twitter. "Taught school for 7 years. I’ve wrestled all over the world for 13 years waiting on an opportunity like this one."
Skyler continued, "I’ve lost enough things in my life. Now I take. Trey Miguel, I’m smart. And I’m going to hurt you. Because I have to."
