NXT star Johnny Gargano issued a short statement on Twitter ahead of his showdown with Shane Thorne later tonight on NXT television. Gargano states that he's been waiting for this night for a long time, and that no matter who fans choose to watch or cheer for (AEW or NXT), it's a good time to be a wrestling fan again. The former triple-crown champion writes, "Tonight's a night I've personally hoped and waited for for a very long time..Whoever you cheer for, whatever you support.. one thing is certain.. it's a cool freaking time to be a wrestling fan!
