Jon Moxley has a big match outside of All Elite Wrestling scheduled for WrestleMania Week.
The former AEW World Heavyweight Champion has been announced for the Josh Barnett's Bloodsport 9 special event scheduled as part of the GCW Collective series of events.
Moxley will go one-on-one against Davey Richards in a match that marks their first in-ring encounter since they last competed against each other back 13 years ago in 2010 at Josh Barnett's Bloodsport 9 on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Los Angeles, California, airing live on FITE TV.
After the announcement was made, former UFC Heavyweight Champion and MMA legend Josh Barnett surfaced on social media with comments about the Moxley-Richards showdown scheduled for 3/30.
"It's been 13 years since these two clashed one-on-one in the ring," Barnett began in a post shared via his official Twitter page. "That last meeting was a time limit draw."
"The War Master" continued, "A wrestler can change a lot in 13 years...but one that hasn't changed for these two athletes - they are out for BLOOD!"
