Jonathan Gresham Announced As The Twelfth Entrant In The 2022 Battle Of Los Angeles

It was recently announced by Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) that Jonathan Gresham will be appearing at their 2022 Battle Of Los Angeles as the twelfth entrant. Gresham is currently competing for companies such as GCW and NJPW and he is the current ROH World Champion. Gresham won the ROH World Title at the Final Battle: End Of An Era PPV, when he defeated AEW Star Jay Lethal. Gresham has since defended his ROH World Title on two separate occasions and will once again defend his ROH World Title at GCW’s The Wrld On GCW Event on Sunday, January 23rd, 2022 against Blake Christian.

Gresham made his PWG debut back in January of 2019, when he lost to Robbie Eagles at the Hand Of Doom PPV. The 2022 PWG Battle Of Los Angeles will be the second PWG BOLA Event for Jonathan Gresham as the ROH World Champion first competed in the 2019 BOLA Event and made it to the finals, but would come up short. Gresham last competed for PWG at their It’s A Long Way To The Top Event last November 21, when he defeated AEW Star Daniel Garcia.

There is no word yet on who the other participants are, but updates will be provided once it has been made available. The 2022 PWG Battle Of Los Angeles is set to take place on Saturday, January 29th and Sunday, January 30th. PWG's Battle Of Los Angeles Event usually takes place over the course of 3 days in the summer, but next year's Battle Of Los Angeles will be held during the last weekend of January, which is when WWE's 2022 Royal Rumble Event in St. Louis will take place. PWG's Battle Of Los Angeles Event usually has 24 competitors, but there is no word yet on if next year's BOLA will have the exact same number of competitors.
