Josh Alexander’s Opponent For IMPACT's Slammiversary Event Officially Revealed

The main event of last night's episode of IMPACT Wrestling saw a Gauntlet For Gold Matchup take place and the winner of the match will challenge Josh Alexander for his IMPACT World Title at Slammiversary next month. The match was won by Eric Young and he is now set to face Josh Alexander at Slammiversary for Alexander's IMPACT World Title.

The Gauntlet For The Gold Match also featured top stars such as PCO, Moose, Rich Swann, W. Morrissey, Bhupinder Gujjar, Shera, Trey Miguel, Alex Shelley, Eddie Edwards, Vincent, Steve Maclin and Sharkboy and ended with Eric Young defeating Chris Sabin to earn a title shot.

Josh Alexander has been the IMPACT World Champion since he defeated Moose at IMPACT Rebellion and The Walking Weapon successfully retained his IMPACT World Title against NJPW's Tomohiro Ishii at IMPACT's Under Siege Event this past Saturday.

IMPACT Wrestling will be celebrating their 20th anniversary with their Slammiversary Event on Sunday, June 19th from the Nashville Fairgrounds in Nashville, Tennessee.
