Joshi Star Reportedly Heading To The United States To Compete

Jungle Kyona, who is one of the top stars in Japanese professional wrestling, worked in Stardom for 6 years before leaving the company in September 2021. Fightful Select reports that Kyona will be making her way to the U.S. sometime this year as she is planning to compete for several wrestling promotions during her time in the States, but there is no word yet on which promotions she will be competing in, though updates will be provided once it has been made available.

The report also states that former ROH Women’s Champion Sumie Sakai is the one who's been helping her secure the bookings for her upcoming visit to the United States. Kyona has been out of action for the past two years as she has been dealing with a number of severe injuries, including an ACL rupture and a dislocated shoulder. During her time in Stardom, Jungle Kyona was the Artist of Stardom Champion as well as the Goddess of Stardom Champion.
