Pro wrestling veteran Kelly Kelly recently shared on her Twitter (X) account that WWE invited her to attend tonight's Evolution 2 premium live event (PLE). However, she clarified that the invitation was to sit in the crowd and not to compete. Kelly decided to decline the invitation, stating that it didn't feel like the right way for her to make a return.
She emphasized that she will come back when the time is right.
This is what Kelly Kelly said, “Thank you love 🥹, I was so honored to be invited to Evolution II—to sit in the crowd—it just didn’t feel like the right way to come back. I’ll always be proud to have been part of the first. My heart is with every woman in that ring tomorrow. I’ll be back when the time’s right ❤️”
Kelly participated in the 20-woman Battle Royal at WWE's first-ever Evolution pay-per-view event in 2018. She has not wrestled since the Women's Royal Rumble match in 2022.
