Don't expect to see "The Cleaner" in person on AEW television this week.
The Elite leader Kenny Omega is reportedly not scheduled to appear live on Dynamite or Rampage this week, according to a report by longtime Wrestling Observer Newsletter editor Dave Meltzer.
This is interesting for a few reasons, as the show last Wednesday night ended with the explosive finishing segment that saw Eddie Kingston return, as well as Will Ospreay, the latter of which laid out Omega as the show went off the air.
It's also interesting because this comes at a week when the show is in Chicago, the hometown of CM Punk, who fresh off his AEW return on the series premiere of AEW Collision, is expected to be at the taping on Wednesday night.
"Hangman" Adam Page and The Young Bucks, who were also heavily involved in the television last week, aren't currently booked for the shows this week either.
