Kevin Kelly Addresses NJPW Cracking Down On Media Sharing Issues

Kevin Kelly hears you, NJPW fans!

The longtime pro wrestling commentator took to social media to address fans being frustrated over NJPW cracking down on GIFs and other media from their events being shared on Twitter and other outlets, with copyright threats being sent to some.

He noted that he has messaged the New Japan World team regarding the issue, informing them that their crackdown policy is a "short-sighted" decision.

Kelly wrote the following on his official Twitter feed about this topic:

“I just messaged the World team. I agree this policy is short-sighted and I’m sorry to anyone who had been hassled by it. You all aren’t profiting from this. Push and pull from content creators and fans has been going on too long.”
