Kevin Nash has a new favorite wrestler.
"The Cleaner" has swept the rest of the talent in the current pro wrestling landscape as the favorite of the WWE Hall Of Fame legend with a tip of the cap to "Big Daddy Cool."
During his ring entrance for the Dynamite Final of the AEW Trios Tag-Team Championship Tournament at the AEW ALL OUT 2022 "go-home" episode on TBS this past Wednesday night, Kenny Omega was given his usual over-the-top ring introduction, complete with a bunch of accolades being read off by AEW's "Dapper Yapper" Justin Roberts.
Among the list of achievements mentioned for Omega's ring entrance was a number of accomplishments he has accumulated over his career that were greater than those of Will Ospreay.
Included in this list was a mention of Omega having "drawn larger crowds in Japan and sold more merchandise than Will Ospreay on two continents," in addition to a laundry list of additional references, all of which you can check out via the video embedded below courtesy of a tweet from the official AEW Twitter feed.
The mention of the greater merchandise movement in two continents was in reference to a Twitter exchange that Ospreay had with Nash that we reported recently here at Rajah.com, as the WWE Hall Of Fame legend was quick to downgrade his in-ring ability by questioning the success of his merchandise sales.
"How's his merchandise sales," Nash wrote in response to a tweet from the @WrestleBanana Twitter feed that posted a photo of Ospreay flipping the bird while applying an abdominal stretch in a match against Orange Cassidy at AEW, which featured a caption boasting Ospreay having more five-star matches than CM Punk, John Cena and Kurt Angle combined.
Ospreay shot back at Nash soon thereafter with a comment pointing to Nash's reputation for being injured often during his active in-ring wrestling career, quipping, "Did you tear your quads writing this tweet?"
In response to the aforementioned clip of Omega's ring entrance from the August 31, 2022 episode of AEW Dynamite on TBS for the match in the AEW Trios Tag-Team Championship Tournament that saw Omega and The Young Bucks advance with a win over Ospreay and Aussie Open, Nash replied and wrote, "My new favorite wrestler."
