Much like baseball legend Babe Ruth ... Kevin Owens is calling his shot.
The WWE veteran took to social media on Saturday morning to hype tonight's WWE Day 1 pay-per-view, where he is scheduled to compete in the Fatal-4-Way main event for the WWE Championship.
Owens claimed today will be a "day to remember" before outright making the bold prediction that he will become WWE Champion.
"IT’S TODAY," Owens' tweet began. "A day to rejoice. A day to be happy. A day to cherish. A day to remember."
From there the longtime pro wrestling star who recently inked a contract to remain with WWE through January of 2025 stated he will emerge victorious as new WWE Champion after the headline bout on the inaugural WWE Day 1 special event, which also features Seth Rollins, Bobby Lashley and defending title-holder Big E.
