During last night's episode of Friday Night SmackDown, a huge Tag Team Matchup took place between WWE Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews and Commander Azeez vs. Kevin Owens and Big E. The match ended with Commander Azeez hitting the Nigerian Nail on Kevin Owens to pickup the pinfall victory thanks to a distraction by Sami Zayn, who was on commentary.
After the match, Kevin Owens approached WWE officials Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville and they made the match between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn official for this Sunday's WWE Hell in a Cell PPV Event. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens have been feuding ever since they got to the WWE and for weeks now that feud has continued on SmackDown.
The 2021 WWE Hell in a Cell PPV is set to take place on Sunday, June 20th from the WWE ThunderDome at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida.
