The wedding of Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford came with some unexpected surprises, according to the groom at the ceremony that took place at the AEW Dynamite: Beach Break 2021 special event on TNT.
Sabian spoke about the heavily promoted segment during a recent interview he took part in along with Ford for Digital Spy.
During the discussion, Sabian revealed that he was not aware that legendary pro wrestling manager "The Sinister Minister" James Mitchell was going to be involved in the wedding ceremony segment until the day of the show.

"I found out on the day [of Dynamite]. I saw James Mitchell there and I was like, ‘Wait, what are you doing here? Oh… wait a second, this now all falls into place.’ Other people knew before me, but it just somehow had gone under the radar. They thought I knew but I didn’t know. It was a nice little surprise on the day."
