Kofi Kingston's Royal Rumble Match Streak Will Be Ending This Sunday

The 30-Man Royal Rumble Match that will be taking place at this Sunday's Royal Rumble PPV is close to being finalized, with only a handful names left to be announced as official entrees. Talents like WWE Intercontinental Champion Big E, The Miz, Cesaro, WWE United States Champion Bobby Lashley, Otis, Jey Uso, AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan and WWE Hall of Famer Edge have already been announced for the match.

However, top WWE Star Kofi Kingston, who has been in the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match since 2009 and has worked the match for 11 straight years, will not be competing in this year's match, which is why that streak will come to an end, according to CageMatch.

Kofi Kingston is currently out of in-ring action due to a legitimate jaw injury, which he sustained a few weeks ago on RAW. There is no word yet on when Kofi Kingston will be cleared to return to in-ring action, but updates will be provided once it has been made available.
