During the latest episode of K100 w/ Konnan & Disco, Konnan shared the following statement with podcast listeners: “I don’t understand why they haven’t been picked up(by WWE or AEW). They’re both main eventers." Konnan continued "Fatu, I think, has more upside than Hammerstone, but Hammerstone is definitely a star. I have no idea why they haven’t been picked up.“
Jacob Fatu holds the record for longest reign as MLW World Heavyweight Champion, while Alex Hammerstone is the current Champion of the promotion.
