Kurt Angle Explains How Game Of "Rock, Paper & Scissors" Led To His Elimination Spot In Past WWE Elimination Chamber Match

Kurt Angle is good at the game of "Rock, Paper and Scissors."

The Olympic gold medalist and WWE Hall of Fame legend spoke during a recent edition of his podcast, "The Kurt Angle Show," about how a game of "Rock, Paper and Scissors" led to his elimination spot in the Elimination Chamber match at the WWE New Year's Revolution 2006 pay-per-view.

Additionally, Angle explained why no one was interested in hanging in the match for any real length of time. Check out some of the highlights below.

On how winning a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors led to him being the first elimination from the Elimination Chamber match at the WWE New Year's Revolution pay-per-view in 2006: "The reason I got eliminated early is that I won paper rock scissors. We had a competition, because John Cena was the [WWE] Champion [and] he was going to retain the title in the Elimination Chamber so the other five of us decided everybody wanted to get eliminated early."

On how no one wanted to last long because they knew Cena was going to retain: "They didn’t want to last the whole match because they weren’t gonna win, and I won paper, rock, scissors so I got eliminated first. That doesn’t happen very often, but we did it that night."
