Kurt Angle took to social media on Monday to offer some high-praise for fellow WWE legend John Cena.
On Monday morning, the official Twitter account for the WWE Network tweeted a video of Angle forcing Cena to tap out at the WWE No Mercy 2003 pay-per-view on the 17-year anniversary of the big event.
"17 years ago today, Kurt Angle got John Cena to TAP at WWE No Mercy 2003," read the tweet caption posted by the WWE Network feed on Monday morning.
In response to the tweet, the WWE Hall Of Fame legend and former Olympic gold medalist posted a statement with some high praise for Cena.
"One of my favorite feuds," Angle said of his rivalry with Cena. "I consider Cena the greatest WWE Superstar of all time."
Angle added, "John was consistent and dominant for 15+ years. Nobody has done it that long specifically in WWE. #itstrue."
