Kurt Angle Says He Believes In Joe Hendry: "He's Like Elias Times 100,000 ..."

Add an Olympic gold medalist to those who have given their veteran stamp of approval to rising mega-star Joe Hendry.

Kurt Angle spoke on his latest "Kurt Angle Show" podcast about the wildly popular TNA Wrestling star, who is scheduled for a live concert on tonight's WWE NXT Great American Bash show in Orlando, FL.

"I believe in Joe Hendry, yes I do," Angle said. "I got to wrestle Joe over in the UK. It was for WCPW or something like that. He’s good. Not only that, he had this character where he would sing songs about his opponents. He did some about me, I was like, ‘Holy sh*t. This guy needs to be in WWE.’ He was Elias times 100,000."

Angle continued, "He was able to tell stories about his opponents every single week. He would come up with these songs, and he would play the guitar, and it was just really impressive. Not only that, but he was a great worker in the ring. So I knew this kid was gonna be something special. I’m actually surprised that he hasn’t been pushed even further at this point in his career. He deserves that [being part of the NXT/TNA crossover]. The kid is multi-talented, he really is."
