WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle recently spoke with Bill Apter of Sportskeeda on a number of topics such as how his matchup against top WWE Star Bobby Lashley in 2015 for the TNA World Championship gave him the confidence to continue wrestling, which would lead to his eventual return to the WWE.
Kurt Angle said:
“This was late in my career, this was when I was 47, 48 … I was getting older and I was worried about losing a step.” “I had this incredible match for the world championship with Bobby Lashley and it built my confidence to continue on, and that’s when I made my return to the WWE.”
