NJPW previously announced that KUSHIDA was pulled from last Wednesday's Burning Spirit Event from the Grand Messe Kumamoto in Kumamoto, Japan due to health concerns as he is suspected of having some sort of a skin disease. The promotion recently announced that KUSHIDA is still dealing with the hand, foot and mouth disease and that the top star will not be cleared in time for tomorrow’s Burning Spirit PPV Event in Kobe.
This is not the first time KUSHIDA will be pulled from NJPW's Burning Spirit as the top NJPW Star was also removed from this past Saturday’s event in Kagoshima after being diagnosed with a fever. KUSHIDA then tested negative for COVID-19 and underwent consultation with the doctors, who diagnosed him with a suspected skin disease.

KUSHIDA will be absent from Burning Spirit in Kobe as he continues to recover from his bout with hand, foot and mouth disease.
