Kyle O'Reilly Comments On Failing Once Again In Quest To Capture Championship Gold In AEW

The journey towards championship gold in AEW continues for one-half of the reDRagon duo.

Kyle O'Reilly took to social media to comment on once again coming up shy in his attempts to capture championship gold in All Elite Wrestling.

O'Reilly won the AEW Title Eliminator Series Battle Royal at AEW Dynamite this past week, moving him one step closer to a potential Interim AEW Championship.

Instead, O'Reilly would go on to lose later in the evening when, as scheduled, he met Jon Moxley to determine who would be going to the AEW & NJPW: The Forbidden Door pay-per-view to square off against the man who emerges from NJPW Dominion in a match that will determine the Interim AEW Champion in Undisputed AEW Champion CM Punk's absence while recovering from injury.

"Well at least I’m UNDEFEATED in battle royals," O'Reilly wrote. "I’ll get another crack at some AEW gold. Props to Mox for bringing the fight to K.C. on Wednesday."

O'Reilly added, "Looking forward to another epic encounter down the road. #masterofthebattleroyalewithcheese."
