"Hangman" Adam Page has already proven himself against two of the greats in AEW, but not a giant.
Lance Archer was quick to point that out this week.
On Monday evening, "The Murderhawk Monster" took to social media to respond to a tweet from the official AEW on TV Twitter feed regarding the AEW World Championship Texas Death Match scheduled for this week's highly-anticipated edition of AEW Dynamite.
Ahead of Wednesday's show, Archer reacted to the AEW on TV Twitter feed hyping the bout with a post that read, "Facing two of the all-time greats to win [and] keep the AEW World Championship. Next up for Adam Page: Lance Archer on AEW Dynamite at 8/7c on TBS."
The tweet included photos of "Hangman" Adam Page's AEW World Championship matches with Kenny Omega and Bryan Danielson.
In response, Archer wrote, "Greats absolutely. Giants they are not. And I hit with a force un-matched by most!"
"I don't need to pin the Cowboy," he added. "Just need to knock him the hell out."
