Larry Matysik Passes Away At Age 72

The pro wrestling world has lost another legend.

Larry Matysik, a longtime pro wrestling personality known for being the announcer for The Wrestling at the Chase, among other things, passed away on Sunday morning at age 72 after being placed in hospice care after a battle with pneumonia.

"So very heartbreaking to learn this A.M. that "The Voice" of "Wrestling at the Chase" and LEGEND, Larry Matysik has passed away," wrote Jeffrey Wilson via Facebook. "I was incredibly fortunate to call wrestling matches with Larry not too long ago. And I even had him [and] Herb Simmons on my original podcast #ItsMeSpkn2U. What an honor. Rest now sir."
